#ImABeanie

Matalan has launched its new Christmas charity campaign and this year it will be supporting Alder Hey Children’s Hospital with the help of a host of celebs including Louise & Jamie Redknapp.

For the latest campaign Matalan has created two different types of hats – beanies and bobble hats, which the stars have posed in for the charity, and you can buy the exact hats to match.

Other celebs who have donned either a beanie or bobble hat alongside Louise and Jamie are Chelsea footballer Diego Costa, American TV presenter Chelsea Handler, Kate Moss’ little sister Lottie, TV presenter Kate Thornton, former Dragons Den star Duncan Bannatyne, Atomic Kitten’s Liz McClarnon, Made in Chelsea’s Louise Thompson and Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac.

There are six different colours available in each style of the hats which you can buy online and in Matalan stores now.

Bosses at the high street store decided to create two different hats and create the campaign Beanie vs Bobble after drawing inspiration from light-hearted family differences during the festive season, such as Brussels sprouts or parsnips, or whether families should watch a soap or film on Christmas Day.

The price for adult sized hats is £8 and for children it’s £4, with 100% of the profits going to Liverpool’s Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Last year, the brand’s Alphabet Scarf campaign raised a total of £650,000 for the charity and the development of the children’s hospital’s new research centre.

This year, the funds raised will go towards new research, education and innovation centre in the state of the art Alder Hey in the Park.

Buy your Matalan charity hat, take a picture and share in on social media with the hashtag #ImaBeanie or #ImaBobble.

As you can see Mr and Mrs Redknapp are #ImaBeanie
